Identifying Innovation in your business

Innovation is on the national agenda but what does this mean for small to medium businesses in South Australia? How can we identify the capacity to innovate and unlock this to create real benefits for business?

The University of South Australia is pleased to introduce Associate Professor David Cropley, a recognised expert in creative problem solving and innovation.  Dr Cropley will take his latest ideas from two of his recent books and demonstrate how to put these into practice within your business.   Dr Cropley will also present his Innovation Phase Assessment Instrument (IPAI), designed to measure an organisations capacity to think and act creatively, together with the ability to bring about tangible outcomes.

David Cropley is the Associate Professor of Engineering Innovation at the University of South Australia.  An engaging speaker and author of four books including Creativity in Engineering: Novel Solutions to Complex Problems (Academic Press, 2015); The Psychology of Innovation in Organizations (Cambridge University Press, 2015); Creativity and Crime: A Psychological Analysis (Cambridge University Press, 2013) and Fostering Creativity: A Diagnostic Approach for Higher Education and Organisations (Hampton Press, 2009), Dr Cropley is a recognised expert in creative problem solving and innovation.
